Project partners will establish links and maintain a structured approach with other projects that have synergies with NS FRITS and that will add value to the wider process.
Projects already identified include:
• StratMoS - Motorway of the Sea Strategic Demonstration Project
• Dryport - is an Interreg North Sea project that aims at shifting the transport of freight from road to rail and inland waterways
• SETPOS - Secure European Truck Parking Operational Services
• Label - Creating a Label for (Secured) Truck Parking Areas along the Trans-European Road Network and Defining a Certification Process. Including Online Information Facility
• SISTER- Satcoms In Support of Transport on European Roads
• MaTIB - Management for Transport and in Railway Incident
• CHINOS - Container Handling in Intermodal Nodes Optimal and Secure
• GMES - Global Monitoring for Environment and Security
• RISing - River Information Services to Transport and Logistics
It is intended that NS FRITS will become an arena for the transfer of knowledge and encourages and improves transnational cooperation between a range of public / private sector organisations.
